Job Summary

We are currently searching for a driven full-time Marketing Specialist to assist our marketing department.  This role requires an energetic, dedicated and detail-oriented person who can manage multiple tasks. This individual is a team-player with a willingness to learn and adapt to shifting priorities. The Marketing Specialist, under the supervision of the Marketing Management Team, will assist with tasks including, but not limited to: writing and editing social media content, photo and video production and editing, web and social media analytics, social media content, graphic design, media relations, digital asset management, event coordination/execution and other marketing and administrative support tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate has a passion for the automotive industry, a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field and 2 or more years of experience in social media management, marketing management and/or digital marketing.  

Responsibilities

  • Ensure relevant and up-to-date content on all our social media channels
  • Proactively look for opportunities to promote dealership awareness and community involvement on social media sites.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends and techniques and suggest strategies.
  • Produce, film, and photograph high quality content for social media channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to develop marketing campaigns.
  • Track and optimize the performance of social media content and marketing campaigns
  • Monitor & respond to customer questions, comments and feedback and ensure reputation management policies are followed
  • Build online relationships with customers, potential customers and members of the media.
  • Marketing, planning, coordinating, and executing special events in-store and around town; Produce social media content from events
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Marketing team as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience working with social media & management tools including creating, curating & scheduling content
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a drive for tracking progress
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Detail oriented, fact driven and highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team on projects
  • Valid driver's license

However, this position requires travel between all of our locations in Jacksonville (Tom Bush BMW Orange Park, Mazda City of Orange Park, Tom Bush Collision Center, Tom Bush MINI, Tom Bush BMW Jacksonville, Tom Bush BMW Certified Pre-Owned, Tom Bush Mazda, Tom Bush Used Cars on Atlantic).
